Mathématiques - Mathematics

Bas de page

Welcome to Experimental Mathematics, a journal devoted to experimental aspects of mathematical research. Experimental Mathematics is now available electronically to subscribers. During the current open trial period you don't have to be a subscriber to access articles electronically. You can browse through the volumes and download most articles in Postscript form.

The MathGuide, located at the Lower Saxony State- and University Library, Göttingen (Germany), is an internet-based subject gateway to scholarly relevant information in the Mathematics. Resources are described and evaluated with a set of metadata. New resources are continuously added to the database, already cataloged ones double-checked and updated.

his is a list of mathematical mistakes made over and over by advertisers, the media, reporters, politicians, activists, and in general many non-math people. These come from many sources, which will appear in parenthesis. I will try to find an actual example of each for learning purposes. Any suggestions for better examples and new topics can be e-mailed to me: paul@mathmistakes.com
What is POP Mathematics? Did you ever wonder what made your teacher get so excited about some topic in Mathematics? On this page, we will try to collect items about Mathematics one of which hopefully may explain this wierd behavior. Also included on this page are links which we couldn't figure out where to put otherwise.

This site is dedicated to mathematical, historical and algorithmic aspects of some classical mathematical constants (like p, e, the Euler constant g, z(3), ¼). A few results on prime numbers are added. Easy and fast programs are also included and can be downloaded.
Purposes of the journal: 1) To provide a forum for the free-thinking communication among all those interested in physics, mathematics, logic, philosophy, science and mathematics education, heuristics, artificial intelligence, and other closely related fields...

The Mizar System is the only implementation of the Mizar Language. Originally, the Mizar system was implemented on an IBM-PC x86 compatibles under MS DOS. Now we distribute releases for MS Windows and Intel-based Linux and Solaris. The whole Mizar system (including verifier) is coded in Pascal using the Free Pascal compiler. Andrzej Trybulec is the author of the Mizar Language, he is also the head of the team implementing the verifier:
